About this lesson

Give like an investor. Kids do not learn generosity from the fact that a family gives. They learn it from watching what giving does. Let them choose a local cause, deliver it themselves, and ask a month later what the money became.

What you’ll learn

  • Choose the cause, deliver it in person, then find out what it became.
  • Ask what they actually need most before you give.
  • Some gifts relieve today. Some gifts build capacity for tomorrow.
  • Measure giving by what changed, not by what was spent.
